The Aluminium Association of Canada (AAC) and its members, Alcoa, Aluminerie Alouette and Rio Tinto Alcan, will host the first Canadian International Aluminium Conference (CIAC) from October 21 to 25, 2013, in Canada, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. The CIAC will emphasize the global importance of the aluminium industry around the world while showing the future of aluminium through its properties and forward looking applications.
 

THE CIAC’S PROGRAM WILL ADDRESS THE FOLLOWING THEMES:

    Presentation on market fundamentals and their realignment.
  • New and potential applications
    Aluminium as a game changer in a carbon restrained world.

  • The AEC Extrusion Excellence Workshop by Dr. Wojciech Z. Misiolek
  • Design for aluminium in light weight vehicles structures by Alain Desrochers

  • Design of Aluminium structures by Denis Beaulieu

CANADA STRONGLY REPRESENTED IN DUBAI AT ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST

Members of the Canadian International Aluminium Conference were present in Dubai to promote the event and to invite Middle East companies and speakers to participate at the CIAC. The Aluminium Valley Society was also on site to represent and introduce Quebec's aluminium industrial cluster and eleven Quebec equipment suppliers. Representatives from other Quebec manufacturers were also at the event.

INALCO's 12th edition is aiming towards success!
To this day, 64 abstracts have been accepted. Inalco has received presentations from all around the world : Algeria, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Montenegro, South Africa, Switzerland, The Gambia, The Netherlands and the United States.

While in Montreal, INALCO's attendees can benefit from other CIAC's events and register "à la carte" to many other activities and conferences or benefit from a special rate and register for the "all week events".
